More about SHALOM: PERFECT PEACE
The same word is used in the well known Isaiah 53:5
in reference to the suffering of the Messiah, Jesus, who
is the Prince of Peace:
He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities,
The chastisement for our PEACE (shalom) was upon Him
And by His stripes we are healed.
