About a week ago, we had the above owl house installed - two different kinds of owls had been seen on the golf estate, so the suggestion was made and apparently taken up by about 12 houseowners - as a result of which, dotted around the estate, are the new owl houses. BUT.......
This is my day one post on Laverne's 365 day challenge (365 days is a LO-----NG time to faithfully post, people! (Let's see who drops out and who is left standing!) but here goes.
It's standing empty at the moment, as you can see. Now, it's all very well having installed an owl house but when, oh when, would we see a fine feathered friend take up residence, if ever - that's the question. A few random birdies have been seen inspecting the owl house, but they are too small for it - an owl is bigger.
Here's where it got interesting for me - the day AFTER the installation, I was having my quiet time and got to Isaiah Ch. 46 - and you know that awesome feeling when a rhema word jumps out at you

Awesome, hey? I immediately asked Frank which direction is East (women don't generally know THOSE things!) and I have now fixed a beady eye on that direction, looking several times a day for the owl the Lord is sending........... Oh, and I am also reminding the Lord of His promise several times a day!!
